Knowledge States

Any organization / community’s capacity to evolve, adapt & respond to change is governed by its knowledge state.

This “knowledge state” manifests itself in various forms: for example – the state of adaptive response, the state of collective self-esteem, state of customer contribution, etc.

The word ‘knowledge’ in India means something completely different from the West. In the West, knowledge means ‘external’ (objective) knowledge. In India, knowledge means ‘internal’ (subjective) knowledge.

Hence, a knowledge-state is not just an intellectual state. It is a human state, as manifest in identity, mindsets, quality of engagement and day-to-day behaviors.
